Young People's Substance Misuse Service

R u-ok? is a young people's substance misuse service that is based in the centre of Brighton. Sussex Central YMCA workers are one of a number of agencies delivering the services. The workers come from a variety of backgrounds including health, youth and community work and education.

The project gives young people under 19 the opportunity to talk to an experienced worker in confidence about their or someone else's drug and/or alcohol use. We will listen to young people and help them to make informed choices, not just about drugs and/or alcohol use but about their home life, health, relationships, school and anything else that they feel they would like to talk about.

If you would like to find out more information on r u-ok? or would like to speak to a worker for advice then you can contact the team on 01273 293966 or email ru-ok@brighton-hove.gov.uk Or check out the website on www.areyouok.org.uk
