With only two Brighton Marathon's in history, both a huge success, a date has already been set for next year’s race. The Marathon will commence on Sunday 15th April 2012 and
is said to be bigger than either of the two previous editions. All the individual places have now sold out, however, Sussex Central YMCA have 10 charity places up for grabs!
By signing up to run for Sussex Central YMCA you will not only be guaranteed a place to run in the Brighton Marathon but you will also have the opportunity to raise money to support the work we do with disadvantaged children, young people and families across Sussex.
As well as a prize for the top fundraiser we will provide every runner of the Sussex Central YMCA team with:
- Fundraising advice and support
- Vest to wear on the day
- Cheering packs with bangers sticks, whistles and badges to give to your supporters
- Access to the runners charity village at the end of the rac
We make sure we really look after and support our runners to make them feel as special and appreciated as they are, "it was great to have the Sussex Central YMCA cheering posts along the route which gave me an extra boost of energy to run the rest of the marathon" - Jason Anderton.
Each place cost
s £50 and runners will need to commit to raising £500 sponsorship money. Places are available on a first come first served basis.
