A note from the Chief Executive...
Chief Executive David Standing
Sussex Central YMCA helps over 5,000 young people across the City each year
We offer help to many different young people, but especially those who are isolated and struggling through homelessness, exclusion from school, family breakdown, poor mental health or drug and alcohol problems.
Sussex Central YMCA was first established in 1919 and has been working in the local community ever since. In the last decade we have grown dramatically and now provide a wide range of services across Brighton & Hove. Sussex Central YMCA is a Christian organisation that believes everyone deserves the chance to fulfil their God-given potential. Although we work with all members of the community we particularly aim to meet the needs of young people through a variety of projects and Sussex-wide initiatives.
